Meet The Team
Bruce Dyksen
Owner
Bruce is the owner of Dyksen and Sons. Having over 25 years of experience, Bruce oversees the operations of the company and projects. You can find Bruce at the job working with the crew, meeting with customers, or in his office ensuring that projects are running smoothly.
Bruce is married to his wife, Serena, has two married children, and 3 grandchildren. Bruce and Serena attend Acts 2020 church.
Wade Snider
Project Lead
With over 20 years of experience, Wade is highly skilled in the world of remodeling and building. Wade can be found on the jobsite directing the crew and working right along side of them.
Wade is married to his wife Jan and has two children and two grandchildren. Wade and Jan attend Granger Community Church.
Michael Bessinger
Pre-construction Coordinator
Michael has over 15 years experience in architectural design and planning. Michael excels in ensuring that projects start off on the right foot.
Michael is marred to his wife Beth and has one son. Michael and Beth attend Nappanee Missionary Church.
Nick Baughman
Project Lead
Nick has 8 years of construction experience. He can be found on the job site working and leading the crew.
Nick enjoys hanging doors, installing trim, and all things finish carpentry. He loves to also remodel older houses.
Nick is married to his wife, Kathy, and has two children. Nick and Kathy attend Grace Community Church in Elkhart.
Taylor Roberts
Assistant Project Lead
Taylor joined Dyksen and Sons straight after completing school at Elkhart trade school and has over 5 years of experience. Taylor's has become a pivotal member of our team. He is a well rounded member with skills from framing to finish. His talents ensure that he always leaves the job in a top notch state.
Taylor enjoys working on his truck and spending time with friends.
Anna Wheeler
Project Builder
Anna is our project builder. She joined the team after graduating high school in 2023. She was apart of the Elkhart Building Trades program.
Anna enjoys RVing with her parents and seeing God's creation in nature. She enjoys playing games or being with family and friends.
Cassie Wilson
Office Manager
Cassie is our bookkeeper and office coordinator. Cassie's ability to process our business administrative tasks is a vital part of the company. Between funneling items between projects or subcontractors, her roles keeps the rest of the crew operating smoothly.
Cassie is married to her husband, Logan, and have two children, a daughter and son.
Britani Dyksen
Administrative Assistant
Britani works on keeping our records up to date and communicating with our sub/venders. Britani joined our team in 2023 after teaching kindergarten for 5 years.
Britani is married to Bruce's son, Carter, and they have one child. They attend Nappanee Missionary Church.

Design and Estimate
Whether you’re planning to remodel your home, add an addition, or build one from the ground up, we understand that it can be hard to know where to start. Since 1991, the team at Dyksen and Sons has worked alongside our fellow Hoosiers to transform rooms, reinvent spaces, and add the finishing touches that make each house a home.
Our team has over 45 years of staff experience designing and estimating projects. Once you reach out to our team, we will first have a brief conversation to outlining your vision and needs. After that, we will conduct an onsite or in person meeting to further outlining details, develop baseline budget, brainstorm requirements, outline a timeline, and provide suggestions based on previous projects that fit into your vision. Then, we finalize those items and present a formal project proposal. At that point, we are ready to start the next phase our process.
Onsite Work
When our team is at your project, here are a few things you can expect. First, our team is punctual and professional. We understand that your schedule continues during the project. So, we are committed to the timeline we outlined during phase one. When we are at your project, we will treat your space with the upmost care and respect. Second, we often listen to Pulse or WFRN as we work. As a Christian based company, we are deeply committed to our faith and beliefs. Third, we spend the part of our day thoroughly cleaning up. We will never leave a project dusty or not picked up.
