Dyksen and Sons: A Family Company

Glenn Dyksen started Dyksen and Sons in 1991 with the hope that he could pass on his trade to his boys and spend quality time together building a dream. It worked.

The majority of Dyksen and Sons customers come to us with residential remodeling projects, and some light commercial remodeling.

Dyksen and Sons is qualified to build any size project, such as additions, room alterations, kitchen and bathroom remodels, finishing of basements and exterior decks. Dyksen and Sons can also take care of general home improvements, such as new entry doors replacement windows, vinyl siding and interior trim work.

We take pride in building long lasting relationships with our customers along with building your project. We have many customers who have been with us since 1991. We not only own the business but, are also on the job site doing the work.

The occasional trade contractors that we use are very quality orientated and in business to serve the customer.

Glenn Dyksen

Glenn is a building genius. You name it and he can do it. Having been a builder for his entire adult life, across the Midwest and East coast, Glenn has built everything from tree houses to Amish barns.

Glenn has been married to Nancy since 1974. They live in the Middlebury area where they raised four boys. Glenn and Nancy are very active in their church, (Greene Road Church in Goshen), and have been members there for over 20 years. Glenn enjoys bird watching and spending time with his grand kids. He enjoys the smile on a satisfied customers face when the project is complete.

Bruce Dyksen

A volunteer firefighter in Foraker, certified EMT, family man and builder extraordinaire; Bruce gets things done on time and on budget.

Bruce worked along side Glenn for years and then became a full partner in 2001.  As the oldest of the boys; he has been married to Serena since 1993. They live in the Wakarusa/ Nappanee area. They have two children who are very involved in church, school, Swine Club, and sports. They are also members of Greene Road Church and are active as well. Bruce loves to fire up the barbeque grill every opportunity he gets and he always enjoys helping you make your dream become reality.
